FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Honest answers about materials, process, licensing, and service area.

Roof size and pitch, the number of layers being removed, deck condition, and the material you choose (asphalt shingle vs. metal, and which brand/tier) are the biggest factors. We'll walk through all of it during your free estimate so there are no surprises.

Most re-roofs take about one day for the tear-off, followed by one to two business days for the re-roof itself, depending on the size of the home and any repairs we run into along the way. Larger homes or more involved jobs can take a bit longer, while smaller, straightforward roofs often move faster. We'll give you a specific timeframe for your home as part of your free estimate.

Yes. We install asphalt shingle roofs — featuring Malarkey shingles over Fontana felt underlayment as our recommended system — as well as standing-seam and metal roofing.

No. Malarkey over Fontana felt is what we recommend because of how it performs, but you can choose any material you prefer. We'll build your estimate around your choice either way.

We back our work with a 5-year workmanship warranty from the date of completion, covering roof leaks caused by improper installation or workmanship deficiencies in the components we install. If a covered leak develops within that period, we'll personally inspect the issue and make the necessary repairs. The warranty doesn't cover damage from severe weather (hail, high winds, fire, and similar events), structural movement of the building, alterations made by other parties after our install, normal wear and aging, or manufacturer defects in materials — those are covered separately under the manufacturer's own warranty. If you ever suspect a warranty issue, report it promptly so we can address it quickly.

We install 5-1/2" fascia-style ("Cali-style") seamless gutters — the deep-profile style common on California homes — along with custom-cut, hand-soldered downspouts.

Yes. We hold California CSLB Contractor's License #1127664, plus City of Redding and City of Anderson business licenses. You can verify our CSLB license directly on the state's website.

We'll go over available financing options with you once we've put together your free estimate and know the full scope of the job.

We specialize in full roof replacement rather than small repairs. If you're not sure whether your roof needs a repair or a replacement, reach out and we'll give you an honest read during a free estimate.
